Materials Needed:

Instructions:

1. Body:

• Start with yellow (or teal) yarn:
  • Create a magic ring with 6 SC.
  • Round 2: Increase in each stitch (12 SC).
  • Round 3: [1 SC, 1 increase] around (18 SC).
  • Round 4: [2 SC, 1 increase] around (24 SC).
  • Continue increasing by adding one more SC between increases until you reach 36 SC.
  • Work even rounds for 6–8 rows to form the round body.
  • Begin decreasing to close the body: [4 SC, 1 decrease] around, then [3 SC, 1 decrease], and so on.
  • Stuff with fiberfill before fully closing.

2. Base (Brown/White for Teal Duck):

• Attach the yarn to the bottom. Crochet a flat circle to match the duck’s bottom, starting with 6 SC and increasing evenly to 36 SC. Sew it to the bottom of the duck’s body.

3. Beak and Feet:

• Beak:
  • Use orange yarn. Create a magic ring with 6 SC. Work 2 rounds even, then fasten off. Sew to the front of the body.
• Feet:
  • Use orange yarn. Crochet two small ovals by chaining 4, SC in the second chain, HDC, DC in the next, and slip stitch to finish. Attach to the bottom.

4. Wings:
