Surfing Santa Amigurumi Crochet Pattern

Materials:

• DK or worsted weight yarn in red, white, black, beige, and brown
• 2.5 mm or 3.0 mm crochet hook
• 6 mm safety eyes
• Fiberfill stuffing
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
• Yarn in rainbow colors for the surfboard

Abbreviations:

• MR: Magic Ring
• SC: Single Crochet
• INC: Increase (2 SC in one stitch)
• DEC: Decrease (sc2tog)
• SL ST: Slip Stitch
• CH: Chain

Santa’s Body:

1. Round 1: With beige yarn, MR, 6 SC into the ring. (6)
2. Round 2: INC in each stitch around. (12)
3. Round 3: SC, INC repeat around. (18)
4. Rounds 4-10: SC around. (18)
5. Change to red yarn for the suit.
6. Rounds 11-20: SC around. (18)
7. Round 21: SC, DEC repeat around. (12)
8. Round 22: DEC around. (6) Fasten off, and leave a tail for sewing.

Santa’s Hat:

1. Round 1: With red yarn, MR, 4 SC into ring. (4)
2. Round 2: INC in each stitch around. (8)
3. Rounds 3-10: SC around. (8)
4. Round 11: Change to white yarn and SC around. (8) Fasten off and attach to Santa’s head.

Beard and Details:

1. Using white yarn, crochet a small beard shape and sew to Santa’s face.
2. Attach safety eyes above the beard.
3. Add a small embroidered nose with pink yarn.

Surfboard:

1. Row 1: With rainbow yarn, CH 15, SC in each CH across. (14)
2. Row 2-5: SC across, alternating colors to make a striped surfboard.
