Santa Homer Amigurumi Crochet Pattern

Materials:

• Yarn:
  • Yellow (skin)
  • Red (Santa suit)
  • White (fur trim and eyes)
  • Brown (beard/mouth area)
  • Black (belt and details)
  • Grey (boots)
  • Blue (teddy bear)
  • Beige (Santa sack)
• Hook: 2.5 mm or 3.0 mm crochet hook
• Stuffing: Polyester fiberfill
• Extras: Safety eyes (10-12 mm), yarn needle, scissors, black embroidery thread

Abbreviations:

• MR: Magic ring
• ch: Chain
• sc: Single crochet
• inc: Increase (2 stitches in 1 stitch)
• dec: Decrease

• BLO: Back loop only

Head (Yellow Yarn):

1. Round 1: 6 sc in MR. (6)
2. Round 2: Inc in each st. (12)
3. Round 3: 1 sc, inc around. (18)
4. Round 4: 2 sc, inc around. (24)
5. Round 5-9: Sc in each st. (24)
6. Round 10: 2 sc, dec around. (18)
7. Round 11: 1 sc, dec around. (12)
8. Stuff firmly, fasten off, and leave a tail for sewing.

Body (Red Yarn):

Round 1: 6 sc in MR. (6)

1. Round 2: Inc in each st. (12)
2. Round 3: 1 sc, inc around. (18)
3. Round 4-8: Sc in each st. (18)
4. Switch to black yarn for the belt.
5. Round 9: Sc in each st. (18)
6. Switch back to red yarn for the coat.
7. Round 10-12: Sc in each st. (18). Stuff firmly.
8. Fasten off.

Legs (Make 2 – Grey Yarn):

1. Round 1: 6 sc in MR. (6)
2. Round 2: Inc in each st. (12)
3. Round 3-5: Sc in each st. (12).
4. Stuff lightly and sew onto the bottom of the body.

Arms (Make 2 – Yellow and Red Yarn):

1. Round 1: 6 sc in MR with yellow. (6)
2. Round 2-3: Sc in each st. (6). Switch to red yarn.
3. Round 4-6: Sc in each st. Stuff lightly and sew onto the body.

Beard and Mouth (Brown Yarn):

1. Round 1: 6 sc in MR. (6)
2. Round 2: 1 sc, inc around. (9)
3. Shape into an oval with a slight curve and attach below the nose area.

Santa Hat (Red and White Yarn):

1. Round 1: 4 sc in MR (Red). (4)
2. Round 2: 1 sc, inc around. (6)
3. Round 3-8: Increase gradually to shape a cone.
4. Switch to white yarn for the brim: Sc around. Add a white pom-pom at the tip.

Teddy Bear (Blue Yarn):

1. Head: 6 sc in MR, increase gradually to 18 st.
2. Body: 6 sc in MR, work to 12 st. Attach the head.
3. Arms and Legs: Small tubes made with 6 sc. Attach to the body.
4. Embroider the eyes and nose with black yarn.

Santa Sack (Beige Yarn):

Round 1: 6 sc in MR. (6)

1. Round 2: Inc in each st. (12)
2. Round 3-6: Sc in each st. (12).
3. Fill lightly and tie the top closed with twine.

Assembly:

• Sew the head to the body.
