Santa Claus and Reindeer Amigurumi Pattern

Materials:

• Yarn:
  • Red, white, and beige (Santa Claus)
  • Brown, beige, red, and green (Reindeer)
• Hook: 3.0 mm crochet hook
• Stuffing: Polyester fiberfill
• Extras: Safety eyes (6 mm), yarn needle, scissors

Abbreviations:

• MR: Magic ring
• ch: Chain
• sc: Single crochet
• hdc: Half double crochet
• inc: Increase (2 stitches in 1 stitch)
• dec: Decrease
• sl st: Slip stitch

Santa Claus

Head (Beige Yarn):

1. Round 1: 6 sc in MR. (6)
2. Round 2: Inc in each st. (12)
3. Round 3: 1 sc, inc around. (18)
4. Round 4-6: Sc in each st. (18)
5. Round 7: 1 sc, dec around. (12)
6. Stuff the head firmly, then fasten off.

Body (Red Yarn):

1. Round 1: 6 sc in MR. (6)
2. Round 2: Inc in each st. (12)
3. Round 3: 1 sc, inc around. (18)
4. Round 4-8: Sc in each st. (18)
5. Fasten off.

Arms (Red and White Yarn):

1. Round 1: 6 sc in MR (white).
2. Round 2-4: Sc in each st. Change to red for the sleeves.
3. Round 5-7: Sc in each st. Fasten off and sew to the body.

Hat (Red Yarn):

1. Row 1: Ch 2, 2 sc in 1st st.
2. Row 2-6: Inc 1 st per row to form a triangle.
3. Add a white pom-pom at the tip and attach to the head.

Beard (White Yarn):

1. Attach yarn below the nose and use a fringe method to create the beard. Trim to your desired length.

Reindeer

Head (Beige Yarn):

1. Round 1: 6 sc in MR. (6)
2. Round 2: Inc in each st. (12)
3. Round 3: 1 sc, inc around. (18)
4. Round 4-6: Sc in each st. (18)
5. Round 7: 1 sc, dec around. (12)
6. Stuff and fasten off.

Antlers (Brown Yarn, Make 2):

1. Round 1: 6 sc in MR. (6)
2. Round 2-4: Sc in each st. Fasten off and attach to the head.

Nose (Red Yarn):

1. Round 1: 6 sc in MR. Fasten off and sew below the eyes.

Body (Beige Yarn):

1. Follow the same steps as Santa’s body, but use beige yarn.

Legs (Brown Yarn):

1. Round 1: 6 sc in MR.
2. Round 2-5: Sc in each st. Fasten off and attach to the body.

Scarf (Green Yarn):

1. Ch 25, hdc across. Fasten off and tie around the reindeer’s neck.
