Crochet Recipe for Peppermint Pillow

Materials:

• Yarn: Red and white (bulky weight)

• Stuffing: Polyester fiberfill or a pillow insert

Abbreviations:

• ch: Chain
• sc: Single crochet
• inc: Increase (2 sc in one stitch)

Instructions:

Front Panel (Peppermint Swirl):

1. With white yarn: Make a magic ring, 6 sc into the ring. (6)
2. Round 2: Inc in each stitch around. (12)
3. Round 3: 1 sc, inc around. (18)
4. Switch to red yarn and work 2 sc, inc around. (24)
5. Alternate colors every round, increasing by 6 stitches per round to maintain a spiral pattern. Continue until the panel reaches your desired size.

Back Panel:

1. Using a single color (red or white), repeat the same process as the front panel but without alternating colors.

Assembly:

1. Place the front and back panels together, right sides facing out.
2. Using red yarn, join the edges with sc, leaving a small opening.
3. Stuff the pillow firmly and close the opening.
