Mini Dragon Amigurumi Pattern

Materials:

• Yarn in light beige and light green (or colors of your choice, DK or sport weight)
• 8mm safety eyes
• Fiberfill stuffing
• 2.5 mm crochet hook
• Tapestry needle
• Keychain clasp (optional)

Abbreviations:

• MR: magic ring
• sc: single crochet
• inc: increase (2 sc in the same stitch)
• dec: decrease (single crochet two stitches together)
• sl st: slip stitch
• ch: chain

Head

1. Using beige yarn:
   • Round 1: MR, 6 sc in the ring (6)
   • Round 2: Inc in each stitch (12)
   • Round 3: 1 sc, inc around (18)
   • Round 4: 2 sc, inc around (24)
   • Round 5-8: Sc around (24)
   • Insert 8mm safety eyes between rounds 6 and 7, spaced evenly.
   • Round 9: 2 sc, dec around (18)
   • Round 10: 1 sc, dec around (12)
   • Round 11: Dec around (6)
   • Fasten off and stuff the head firmly.

Body

1. Using beige yarn:

   • Round 8: 1 sc, dec around (12)
   • Round 9: Dec around (6)

Arms (Make 2)

Wings (Make 2)

1. Using light green yarn:
   • Round 1: Ch 6, sc in the second chain from hook, and across (5)
   • Round 2: Ch 1, turn, dec, 1 sc, dec (3)
   • Round 3: Ch 1, turn, dec, 1 sc (2)
   • Round 4: Ch 1, turn, dec (1)
   • Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing. Attach the wings to the back of the dragon.

Spikes (Make 3-4)

1. Using light green yarn:
   • Round 1: MR, 4 sc in the ring (4)
   • Round 2: Sc around (4)
   • Fasten off and sew the spikes evenly along the back and tail.

Final Assembly

1. Sew the head to the body securely.
2. Attach the wings to the back of the dragon.
3. Attach the keychain clasp to the top of the head if you’d like to use it as a keychain.
