Joker Amigurumi Keychain Pattern

Materials:

• 2.5 mm crochet hook
• Green, white, black, red, purple, orange, and dark green yarn
• 6 mm safety eyes
• Fiberfill stuffing
• Keychain ring and clasp
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors

Abbreviations:

• MR: Magic Ring
• sc: single crochet
• inc: increase (2 sc in the same stitch)
• dec: decrease (sc 2 stitches together)
• sl st: slip stitch

Head:

1. With white yarn, start with a MR, 6 sc in the ring (6).
2. Inc in each st around (12).
3. 1 sc, inc around (18).
4. 2 sc, inc around (24).
5. Sc around for 6 rounds.
6. Insert safety eyes between rounds 4 and 5, about 6 stitches apart.
7. Start decreasing: 2 sc, dec around (18).
8. 1 sc, dec around (12).
9. Stuff with fiberfill.
10. Dec around (6). Fasten off and weave in the ends.

Body:

1. With dark green yarn, start with a MR, 6 sc in the ring (6).
2. Inc in each st around (12).
3. 1 sc, inc around (18).
4. Change to purple yarn and sc for 4 more rounds.
5. Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Arms (Make 2):

1. With purple yarn, start with a MR, 6 sc in the ring (6).
2. Sc around for 4 rounds.
3. Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Legs (Make 2):

1. With black yarn, start with a MR, 6 sc in the ring (6).
2. Sc around for 4 rounds.
3. Change to purple yarn and sc for 3 more rounds.
4. Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.

Jacket:

1. With purple yarn, chain 18 and join to form a circle.
2. Sc in each stitch around for 6 rounds.
3. Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Hair:

1. With green yarn, cut several short pieces and attach them to the top of the head using a latch hook method to create Joker’s wild hair.
2. Trim the hair as needed to get the desired messy look.

Face:

1. Use black yarn to embroider eyebrows above the safety eyes.
2. With red yarn, embroider Joker’s wide, exaggerated smile.

Assembly:

1. Sew the head to the body.
2. Attach the arms to the sides of the body.
3. Sew the legs to the bottom of the body.
4. Attach the jacket around the body.
5. Attach the keychain ring to the top of the head.
