Crochet Pastry Pal Pattern

Materials:

• Yarn:
  • Beige (base crust)
  • Pink, white, or any frosting color of choice
  • Bright colors for sprinkles (optional)
• Hook: 3.5 mm crochet hook
• Stuffing: Polyester fiberfill
• Eyes: 8 mm safety eyes
• Extras: Yarn needle, scissors

Abbreviations:

• ch: Chain
• sc: Single crochet
• inc: Increase (2 stitches in 1 stitch)
• dec: Decrease
• sl st: Slip stitch

Pastry Base (Make 2 in Beige Yarn):

1. Row 1: Ch 12. Starting in the second ch from the hook, 11 sc. Turn. (11)
2. Row 2-10: Ch 1, 11 sc. Turn. (11)
3. Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Frosting (Choose Frosting Color):

1. Row 1: Ch 10. Starting in the second ch from the hook, 9 sc. Turn. (9)
2. Row 2-8: Ch 1, 9 sc. Turn. (9)
3. Fasten off and sew onto one pastry base.

Sprinkles:

1. Using bright-colored yarn, embroider small dashes randomly onto the frosting to create sprinkles.

Assembly:

1. Place the two pastry bases together, wrong sides facing.
2. Attach beige yarn and sc around the edges, stuffing lightly as you go.
3. Insert safety eyes through the frosting section before completing the stitching.
4. Fasten off and weave in the ends.
