Halloween-Themed Crochet Sleep Mask Pattern

Materials:

• Yarn in cream, black, gray, and dark gray (soft or medium-weight yarn)
• 3.5mm crochet hook
• Yarn needle
• Scissors
• Small decorative button for embellishment (optional)

Abbreviations:

• CH: Chain
• SC: Single Crochet
• INC: Increase (2 SC in one stitch)
• DEC: Decrease (SC two stitches together)
• SL ST: Slip Stitch
• MR: Magic Ring

Mask Base:

1. Row 1: With cream yarn, CH 20.
2. Row 2: SC in second CH from hook and across. CH 1, turn.
3. Row 3-15: SC across the row (maintaining the width). Continue for 15 rows, or until the mask reaches the desired size to cover your eyes comfortably.
4. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Strap:

1. Row 1: With black yarn, CH 50 (adjust for head size).
2. Row 2: SC in second CH from hook and across. Fasten off.
3. Attach the ends of the strap to the sides of the mask.

Moon Decoration:

1. Round 1: With gray yarn, MR and SC 6 into the ring.
2. Round 2: INC in each stitch around. (12)
3. Round 3: (1 SC, INC) around. (18)
4. Continue increasing until you reach the desired size.
5. Attach the moon to the upper left corner of the mask.

Bat Decoration:

1. With black yarn, CH 8.
2. SC in second CH from the hook and across. CH 1, turn.
3. SC 4 times into the first stitch, then SC across. SL ST to finish.
4. Add bat wings by chaining small stitches and SC back into the main bat body.
5. Attach the bat to the right side of the mask.

Finishing Touches:
