Materials:

• Orange, black, red, and green worsted weight yarn
• Crochet hook size G/4.0mm
• Polyester stuffing
• Safety eyes (10mm)
• Black embroidery thread for face details

Instructions:

1. Pumpkin Body:
   • With orange yarn, make a magic ring.
   • Round 1: 6 single crochets into the magic ring. (6)
   • Round 2: 2 single crochets in each stitch around. (12)
   • Round 3: (1 single crochet, 2 single crochets in next stitch) around. (18)
   • Round 4: (2 single crochets, 2 single crochets in next stitch) around. (24)
   • Continue increasing until you have 36 stitches.
   • Work even for 5-6 rounds to form the pumpkin body.
   • Begin decreasing (2 single crochets, then single crochet two together) until 6 stitches remain.
   • Stuff the body firmly before closing.
2. Face:
   • Attach safety eyes between rounds 5 and 6 of the pumpkin body.
   • Using black yarn, embroider a triangular nose and a wide smiling mouth with jagged edges to mimic a jack-o’-lantern’s face.
3. Hat:
   • With black yarn, make a magic ring.
   • Round 1: 6 single crochets into the magic ring. (6)
   • Round 2: 2 single crochets in each stitch around. (12)
   • Round 3: (1 single crochet, 2 single crochets in next stitch) around. (18)
   • Continue increasing until you have 30 stitches, then work even for a few rounds.
   • Create a red band with a few rounds of red yarn.
   • Add a green holly leaf with green yarn, using simple chain and single crochet stitches for decoration.
   • Attach the hat to the top of the pumpkin.
4. Assembly:
   • Secure the hat to the top of the pumpkin.
   • Make sure all face details are well-embroidered, and your pumpkin is fully stuffed and shaped.
