Crochet Witch Doll Amigurumi Pattern

Materials:

• Worsted weight yarn in gray, brown, green, orange, and other colors for dress and accessories
• 10 mm safety eyes
• Crochet hook (3.0 mm)
• Tapestry needle
• Fiberfill stuffing
• Small crochet flowers and leaves for hat decoration

Abbreviations:

• MR: Magic ring
• SC: Single crochet
• INC: Increase (2 SC in the same stitch)
• DEC: Decrease (2 SC together)
• SL ST: Slip stitch

Pattern:

Head and Body:

1. R1: With skin-tone yarn, make a MR and 6 SC. (6)
2. R2: INC in each stitch around. (12)
3. R3: (SC, INC) repeat around. (18)
4. Continue increasing until you reach 36 stitches in the round.
5. SC in each stitch around for 10 rounds for the head.
6. Attach safety eyes and stuff before continuing with the body in the same round.
7. Switch to the dress color and continue working rounds to shape the body.
8. Decrease as needed to close the body, stuffing as you go.

Arms (Make 2):

1. R1: With skin-tone yarn, make a MR and 6 SC. (6)
2. SC in each stitch around for 5 rounds.
3. Attach to the body.

Hat:

1. R1: With gray yarn, make a MR and 6 SC. (6)
2. R2: INC in each stitch around. (12)
3. Continue increasing until the hat is wide enough to fit the head.
4. Add small crochet flowers and leaves around the brim.

Dress:

1. Begin with the color of your choice.
2. Start with a chain that fits around the doll’s body and work in rounds to create the dress length.
3. Use decorative stitches to add texture to the skirt.

Book:

1. R1: With brown yarn, chain 5 and SC across for several rows to form a small rectangle.
2. Fasten off and fold to resemble an open book.

Mushrooms:

1. Cap: With red or pink yarn, make a MR and SC around to form a rounded cap.
