Crochet Snoopy Keychain Pattern

Materials:

• White, black, red, and green yarn (sport weight)
• Small amount of brown, yellow, and red yarn for details
• 2 black safety eyes (6mm)
• Black embroidery thread for the nose
• Fiberfill stuffing
• 2.5 mm crochet hook
• Tapestry needle
• Keychain ring
• Scissors
• Stitch marker

Abbreviations:

• MR: magic ring
• sc: single crochet
• inc: increase (2 sc in the same stitch)
• dec: decrease (single crochet two stitches together)
• sl st: slip stitch

Head

1. Using white yarn:
   • Round 1: MR, 6 sc in the ring (6)
   • Round 2: Inc in each stitch (12)
   • Round 3: 1 sc, inc around (18)
   • Round 4-8: Sc around (18)
   • Insert safety eyes between rounds 5 and 6.
   • Round 9: 1 sc, dec around (12)
   • Round 10: Dec around (6), fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
   • Stuff the head with fiberfill.

Body

1. Using white yarn:
   • Round 1: MR, 6 sc in the ring (6)
   • Round 2: Inc in each stitch (12)

Tail

1. Using white yarn:
   • Round 1: MR, 5 sc in the ring (5)
   • Round 2-3: Sc around (5), fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Santa Hat

1. Using red yarn:
   • Round 1: MR, 4 sc in the ring (4)
   • Round 2: 1 sc, inc around (6)
   • Round 3: 2 sc, inc around (8)
   • Round 4: Sc around (8)
   • Change to white yarn for the trim.
   • Round 5: Sc around (8), fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.

Christmas Tree

1. Using green yarn:
   • Round 1: MR, 4 sc in the ring (4)
   • Round 2: 1 sc, inc around (6)
   • Round 3: 2 sc, inc around (8)
   • Round 4: 3 sc, inc around (10)
   • Round 5: Sc around (10), fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
   • Decorate the tree with small red yarn balls for ornaments.
   • Add a small yellow star on top using yellow yarn.

Scarf

1. Using red yarn:
   • Chain 25, turn, and sc in each stitch across. Fasten off.

Assembly

1. Sew the head to the body.
2. Attach the ears to each side of the head.
3. Sew the arms and legs to the body.
4. Attach the tail to the back of the body.
5. Sew the Santa hat to the top of Snoopy’s head.
6. Sew the Christmas tree to Snoopy’s arms.
7. Wrap and sew the scarf around Snoopy’s neck.
8. Embroider a black nose and attach the keychain ring to the top of the Santa hat.
