Materials:

• Yarn: Yellow (main body) and pink (cheeks)
• Hook: 3.0 mm crochet hook
• Eyes: 8 mm safety eyes
• Stuffing: Polyester fiberfill
• Extras: Black embroidery thread, yarn needle, keyring

Abbreviations:

• MR: Magic ring
• sc: Single crochet
• inc: Increase (2 sc in 1 stitch)
• dec: Decrease (single crochet two stitches together)
• sl st: Slip stitch

Star Body (Make 2):

1. Round 1: MR, 10 sc into the ring. Tighten and sl st to the first sc. (10)
2. Round 2: (sc, inc) around. (15)
3. Round 3: (2 sc, inc) around. (20)
4. Round 4: (3 sc, inc) around. (25)
5. Fasten off the first piece. For the second piece, do not fasten off; proceed to join both pieces in the next step.

Star Points (Work on Both Pieces):

1. Skip 5 stitches and join yarn.
2. Row 1: (sc in the next 5 sts). Turn. (5)
3. Row 2: (sc, dec) twice. Turn. (3)
4. Row 3: sc across. Turn. (3)
5. Row 4: dec, sc. Turn. (2)
6. Row 5: dec. Fasten off. Repeat for each star point.

Assembly:

1. Align both star pieces, wrong sides facing.
2. Stuff lightly with fiberfill.
3. sc around the edges to join the two pieces.

Add Face and Keyring:

1. Insert safety eyes between rounds 3 and 4, 2 stitches apart.
2. Embroider a smile using black thread. Add small pink cheeks for extra charm.
3. Attach a keyring to one of the star points with a loop of yarn.
