Bunny Plushie and Bear Plushie Crochet

Materials:

• Yarn: Super soft chenille yarn in white and pink
• Hook: 6.0 mm crochet hook
• Polyfill stuffing
• 12 mm safety eyes
• Yarn needle
• Scissors

Abbreviations:

• MR: Magic ring
• sc: Single crochet
• inc: Increase (2 sc in the same stitch)
• dec: Decrease (sc two stitches together)
• ch: Chain
• sl st: Slip stitch

Head:

1. Round 1: MR, 6 sc into the ring. (6)
2. Round 2: Inc in each stitch around. (12)
3. Round 3: [1 sc, inc] repeat around. (18)
4. Round 4: [2 sc, inc] repeat around. (24)
5. Round 5-8: Sc around. (24)
6. Round 9: [2 sc, dec] repeat around. (18)
7. Round 10: [1 sc, dec] repeat around. (12)
   • Stuff the head with polyfill before closing.
   • Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Ears (Make 2):

Round 1: MR, 6 sc into the ring. (6)

1. Round 2: [1 sc, inc] repeat around. (9)
2. Round 3-5: Sc around. (9)
   • Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.

Body:

1. Round 1: MR, 6 sc into the ring. (6)
2. Round 2: Inc in each stitch around. (12)
3. Round 3: [1 sc, inc] repeat around. (18)
4. Round 4-6: Sc around. (18)
5. Round 7: [1 sc, dec] repeat around. (12)
6. Round 8: Dec around. (6)
   • Stuff the body with polyfill before closing.

Arms and Legs (Make 4):

1. Round 1: MR, 6 sc into the ring. (6)
2. Round 2: Sc around. (6)
   • Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.

Scarf:

1. Using pink yarn, ch 40.
2. Sc in each chain across.
3. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Assembly:

1. Attach the ears to the top of the head.
2. Sew the head to the body.
3. Attach the arms and legs to the body.
4. Add safety eyes to the head and embroider a small nose with pink yarn.
5. Wrap and tie the scarf around the neck for the finishing touch.
