Amigurumi Puss in Boots Keychain Pattern

Materials:

• Orange, white, black, and brown cotton yarn
• Crochet hook (2.5 mm)
• Safety eyes (8 mm)
• Fiberfill stuffing
• Small button for cape
• Black felt for hat
• Tapestry needle

Abbreviations:

• MR: Magic ring
• SC: Single crochet
• INC: Increase (2 SC in the same stitch)
• DEC: Decrease (2 SC together)

Pattern:

Head and Body:

1. R1: Using orange yarn, make a MR and 6 SC. (6)
2. R2: INC in each stitch. (12)
3. R3: (SC, INC) repeat around. (18)
4. R4-9: SC around. (18)
5. R10: (SC, DEC) repeat around. (12)
6. R11-15: Switch to white yarn for the belly, SC around. (12)
7. Stuff with fiberfill, close the round with slip stitches.

Arms and Legs:

• Arms: Make a MR with 6 SC in orange, SC around for 6 rounds, sew to the body.
• Legs: With brown yarn, MR with 6 SC, increase to 8 SC for 3 rounds, sew to body.

Tail:

• With orange yarn, MR and 5 SC. SC around for 8 rounds, sew to back of the body.

Cape:

• With black yarn, chain 10, SC along both sides of the chain to form a cape shape. Attach a small button at the top for closure.

Hat:

• Cut a circle from black felt, stitch a smaller circle in the middle to fit around the cat’s head.
