Recipe: Amigurumi Cat in a Flower Tray Pattern

Materials:

• Gray, white, pink, and green yarn
• 2.5 mm crochet hook
• Stuffing (fiberfill)
• 6 mm safety eyes
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors

Instructions:

1. Cat Body:
   • Head:
     • Round 1: With gray yarn, make a magic ring and work 6 SC.
     • Round 2: Increase in each stitch (12 SC).
     • Round 3: SC in next stitch, increase repeat around (18 SC).
     • Round 4-7: SC in each stitch (18 SC).
     • Round 8: SC in next stitch, decrease repeat (12 SC).
     • Insert safety eyes, stuff the head.
     • Round 9: Decrease around to close.
   • Body:
     • Round 1: Using white yarn, make a magic ring with 6 SC.
     • Round 2: Increase in each stitch (12 SC).
     • Round 3-6: SC in each stitch (12 SC).
     • Stuff the body, attach to the head.
2. Ears:
   • Round 1: With gray yarn, make a magic ring with 4 SC.
   • Round 2: SC in each stitch (4 SC).
   • Sew to the head.
3. Flower Tray:
   • Base:
     • Round 1: With green yarn, make a magic ring with 6 SC.
     • Round 2: Increase in each stitch (12 SC).
     • Round 3: SC in next stitch, increase repeat around (18 SC).
     • Continue increasing rounds until desired tray size.
   • Petals:
     • Using pink yarn, Chain 5, slip stitch into the next stitch around to create the flower petals around the tray.
4. Decorations:
   • Crochet small pink and green flowers and leaves.
   • Sew them onto the tray.
5. Assembly:
   • Sew the cat to the center of the tray, surrounded by the flower decorations.
