Amigurumi Bunny with Long Ears Crochet Pattern

Materials:

• Yarn: Light worsted weight yarn in white or pastel colors
• Hook: 3.0 mm crochet hook
• Polyfill stuffing
• 6 mm safety eyes
• Yarn needle
• Scissors

Abbreviations:

• MR: Magic ring
• sc: Single crochet
• inc: Increase (2 sc in the same stitch)
• dec: Decrease (sc two stitches together)
• ch: Chain
• sl st: Slip stitch

Head:

1. Round 1: MR, 6 sc into the ring. (6)
2. Round 2: Inc in each stitch around. (12)
3. Round 3: [1 sc, inc] repeat around. (18)
4. Round 4: [2 sc, inc] repeat around. (24)
5. Round 5-10: Sc around. (24)
6. Round 11: [2 sc, dec] repeat around. (18)
7. Round 12: [1 sc, dec] repeat around. (12)
8. Round 13: Dec around. (6)
   • Stuff firmly with polyfill.
   • Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Body:

1. Round 1: MR, 6 sc into the ring. (6)
2. Round 2: Inc in each stitch around. (12)
3. Round 3: [1 sc, inc] repeat around. (18)
4. Round 4-8: Sc around. (18)
5. Round 9: [1 sc, dec] repeat around. (12)
6. Round 10: Dec around. (6)
   • Stuff with polyfill and fasten off.

Ears (Make 2):

1. Round 1: MR, 6 sc into the ring. (6)
2. Round 2: Inc in each stitch around. (12)
3. Round 3-12: Sc around. (12)
4. Fold in half and sl st across to close the ear.
   • Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.

Arms (Make 2):

1. Round 1: MR, 6 sc into the ring. (6)
2. Round 2-6: Sc around. (6)
   • Stuff lightly and fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing.

Legs (Make 2):

1. Round 1: MR, 6 sc into the ring. (6)
2. Round 2-4: Sc around. (6)
   • Stuff lightly and fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing.

Tail:

1. Round 1: MR, 6 sc into the ring. (6)
2. Round 2: Inc in each stitch around. (12)
3. Round 3: [1 sc, dec] repeat around. (8)
   • Stuff and fasten off.

Assembly:

1. Attach the ears to the head.
2. Sew the head to the body.
3. Attach the arms and legs to the body.
4. Add the tail to the back of the body.
5. Insert safety eyes and embroider a nose and smile for the bunny’s face.
