Amigurumi Bunny Keychain with Carrot

Recipe:

Materials:

• Gray, white, pink, orange, and green yarn (4-ply)
• 2.5mm crochet hook
• Black embroidery thread for whiskers
• Black safety eyes (6mm)
• Fiberfill stuffing
• Yarn needle
• Keychain with clasp
• Stitch marker
• Scissors

Pattern:

Step 1: Head

1. Using gray yarn, make a magic ring.
2. Round 1: 6 SC into the ring. (6)
3. Round 2: Inc in each stitch around. (12)
4. Round 3: SC, Inc repeat around. (18)
5. Round 4: 2 SC, Inc repeat around. (24)
6. Rounds 5-9: SC around. (24)
7. Round 10: 2 SC, Dec repeat around. (18)
8. Round 11: SC, Dec repeat around. (12)
9. Insert safety eyes between rounds 7 and 8, spaced 6 stitches apart.
10. Round 12: Dec around. (6)
11. Finish off, leaving a tail for sewing, and stuff firmly.

Step 2: Ears (Make 2)

1. With gray yarn, chain 2.
2. Round 1: 6 SC into the second chain from the hook. (6)
3. Round 2: SC, Inc repeat around. (9)
4. Rounds 3-5: SC around. (9)
5. Round 6: SC, Dec repeat around. (6)
6. Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing.

Step 3: Body

1. With gray yarn, make a magic ring.
2. Round 1: 6 SC into the ring. (6)

Step 4: Arms (Make 2)

4. Finish off, leaving a tail for sewing.

Step 5: Legs (Make 2)

1. With gray yarn, chain 2.
2. Round 1: 6 SC into the second chain from the hook. (6)
3. Rounds 2-5: SC around. (6)
4. Finish off, leaving a tail for sewing.

Step 6: Carrot

1. With orange yarn, chain 2.
2. Round 1: 6 SC into the second chain from the hook. (6)
3. Round 2: SC, Inc repeat around. (9)
4. Rounds 3-6: SC around. (9)
5. Round 7: SC, Dec repeat around. (6)
6. Finish off, stuff lightly, and weave in ends.

Carrot Top (Green):

1. Attach green yarn to the top of the carrot.
2. Chain 4, slip stitch into the next stitch, repeat around.
3. Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing.

Assembly:

1. Sew the ears onto the head.
2. Attach the head to the body.
3. Sew on the arms and legs.
4. Embroider the nose with pink yarn and whiskers with black thread.
5. Attach the carrot to one of the bunny’s hands.
6. Secure the bunny to the keychain with a sturdy loop or clasp.
